The Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center (WHC)

The Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center (WHC) advances the health of wildlife in balance with people and the environment through science, technology and education. The center includes Gorilla Docs, SeaDocs, the Oiled Wildlife Care Network, the Latin America Program, among others.

UC Global Health Institute Planetary Health Center of Expertise

Co-led by UC Davis professor Dr. Woutrina Smith, The Planetary Health Center of Expertise (PHCOE) addresses complex global issues that arise from the effects of climate change, rapidly growing populations and limited food and natural resources. The PHCOE draws on the resources of all ten UC campuses and two national laboratories.
